What is PlantAI™?

  • By training the Solvi PlantAI™ tool on field imagery, you the user can leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence to detect Plants or Weeds and extract valuable data on plant characteristics such as size, count, and health. It can be trained on your own specific crop, providing essential information and enabling the optimization of crop performance and more efficient field management.

  • The process of training and applying the PlantAI tool involves the following steps:

    • Decide whether to run the PlantAI tool yourself or request Solvi to do it on your behalf
    • Choose The Detection Type (Basic Count, Plant Level Data or Weed Detection)
    • Train the tool to detect the desired Plant by Creating Examples
    • Run Examples on a Test Area and Review Results
    • Modify and add further Examples as necessary
    • Apply Model to the Whole Field
    • Review and Refine Results to Satisfaction
    • Select the desired metrics to include in the analysis (Size Metrics, Health Index, etc)
    • Proceed to Analysis

  • Once the PlantAI process is complete and the plants have been accurately detected, the results can be used to extract a wide range of valuable information, such as:
    • Plant Counts & Density
    • Plant Health (choosing from a variety of indices)
    • Zonal Statistics
    • Prescription Maps and more!
